Introducing our Church and Mission

New Life Restoration Centre started in 1981 with a group of 6 young men and women. Today, it is a group of 20 churches in Malaysia with many churches in its network in 12 nations. The vision is to intentionally fulfill the mission of the Gospel of the Kingdom with an emphasis on prayer, training and church-planting. In Malaysia, church-planting began in the urban cities with churches of different languages in English, Chinese and Malay. We then moved on to reach tribal groups in both East and West Malaysia. The urban churches in Malaysia support mission and church-planting in the mission in rural areas and in lesser developed nations. From the main church and one or two other urban churches, we sent out over 60 teams on mission last year.

We mobilize our churches in these three aspects of our Vision Statement : Bring up People ? based on the value of a fatherly (apostolic) spirit to whole-life discipleship of people to be leaders for life and for the Gospel. We describe discipleship in our churches by naming New Life Restoration Centre as a ¡°Generations Church¡± raising people of all age groups without leaving out any generation, with a focus on continuity ? this is worked out through platforms of cell-group multiplication, global mission, church planting, and education (school for children with disabilities, ministry and church-planting institute, plans of pre-schools for rural native children and a mainline school)

Build the Church : based on the values of prayer and training to follow Christ¡¯s leading in building His Church that is active in Gospel preaching (trusting for apostolic authority and prophetic anointing for signs and wonders and miracles) ? this is worked out through training of cell groups on evangelism and assimilation; church evangelism, assimilation and multiplication; all in the likes of families that are raised to be fruitful and will multiply and are used by God to fill the earth (Gen1:26-28)

Bless the Nations : based on the value of obeying Christ¡¯s Great Commission in discipling the nations; and the church being blessed by God (through obedience) to be a blessing to the nations ? using platforms of short-term mission trips; setting up of training hubs in the nations for discipleship for making leaders, and reaching out to overseas students and migrants and sending them back to be influencers and church-planters in their nations; and adopting divinely connected apostolic leaders to facilitate church planting in the nations by nationals wherever possible We trust the Lord, by the Holy Spirit, to help
